10 facts about me

Hi! My topic for this week is 10 facts that you should know about me. At first I got this topic, I was so excited because this is the way how people may know me well than just judging me. Many people not really believe me when I told them about myself.

One of the facts that you should know about me is I love to watch “Tinker Bell” and Barbie (+-+). I do love the story but not so obsessed with the dolls and their accessories. I find that this story is fun and make me want to be in that story. When I’m telling my friends about this, they laugh at me. LOL! Well, no matter what people says about it, I don’t care because this is my interest and nobody can stop me.

Secondly, I love humors very much as it like give me a life. Huhu. In life we cannot be serious all the time. From my view, people that so serious in their life will lack of friends compared to people that have sense of humor. Humor gives me a great moment to enjoy with my family and my friends. I also enjoyed watched Mr. Bean and Toms and Jerry tales because this is really entertain me.

Thirdly, every time I have free time, I will hang out with all my best friends. They are; Huda, Dyda, Echa and Mira. We always spend our great time together. Usually when we hang out, we will go to shopping mall to do window shopping. I enjoy my time with them because they always make me want to laugh. Even though all of us are now busy with studying, we’re still connecting with each other. I love you guys!

Fourthly, whenever I stressed, the first thing cross in my mind is go shopping. Usually I will buy only one thing that a bit expensive but it makes me satisfy (+_+). However, when I have no money, I will go for water fall. I feel calm and relax when I saw water fall. It was beautiful. Added with quiet environment, it’s really making me peaceful. At Sagil, we have Gunung Ledang. Usually I will spend my time there with my friends. I always go after class for last semester. For this semester, I haven’t gone yet. I need to accomplish my assignment first.

Fifth, another fact about me is I’m not easily get angry to people. Once I’m angry, my tears will fall because I really hate to scold people and I will keep it in my heart. So people please don’t make me mad ya! Hehe. Besides that people will hate people that are easily become angry.

Others than above facts, facts that you should know is I will easily get boring when there is no one around me. I always need someone to be on me all the time. It doesn’t matter if just on phone call. As long as I’m will not getting bored. This is because when I bored, I will just sleep and eat. This is not good for health! Sometimes I also will become stress when I’m bored. So, whenever I’m getting bored, I will text my friends.

Next, I love to drive fast especially when I’m mad. I hates people that drive big car but he or she drive slow. Even though I love to drive fast, I still follow the rules and remember my family. I still remember the first time I get my license I was so excited and every day I will drive the car.

Other than that, I cannot sleep alone in room especially at my college. As it will make me feel scared and I will start to thing negative things such as ghost. So, every time my roommates went back to their hometown, I will sleep at my friend’s room.

Besides that, I’m not good telling others my problems. So, I will just keep it in my heart. Actually, keeping your own problem will make it become worse. I think I need to learn how to tell others my problem. For now, I only trust one person to share my problem with. =D

Last but not least, I’m so scared with snake. This happen because I have got bad dream about it. I almost get bitten by snake. Oh my god. I was surrounded by snakes and I have no place to run to. I’m so glad that this is just dream. According to old people, they tell me that when we had a dream about snake, meanings that we will be proposed by some one. Does this a real?? Well, until now there is nobody hand me in! =p

My Roommates

This semester I got the same room as past semester. My collage is “Kolej Intan”. Since semester one I stayed there. My room for this semester is 018B. It’s has been 3 semester onwards I got ground floor room (+-+). It’s the same room that I got for the last semester. I have new roommates or junior for this semester compared to last semester I’m the junior. The other roommates are still maintained the same. My roommates all come from different state. Sometimes we will share our experience and culture together.

Firstly, I will introduce my senior in my room. Her name is Farhana binti Kassim and I called her Kak Ana. She is from Beufort, Sabah and currently in semester 5. She’s taking Diploma in Investment Analysis (DIIA). She is 21 years old and she’s the eldest from 6 siblings in her family. Her hobbies are singing and sometimes she will playing guitar but she still in learning process. So, that why sometimes the melody comes is quite “horrible” =P. Her favorites colour is purple Majority her clothes and belongings is in purple colour. From my view I think Kak Ana is a funny.
Secondly, my other roommates are Hafiza binti Hazmy. I just called her Fiza. Fiza has a cute face. She is from Cheras, Selangor. Now she is Part 4 students and taking the same courses just like Kak Ana. Her age is same with me, 20 and she’s the only child in her family. So, she is childish a bit. Her hobby is online and talks to the phone. Sometimes she talks to her mother or her boyfriend. She is close with her family especially her mother. Another Fiza’s hobby is hanged out with her friends. Her favorites colour is red.

Lastly, the junior in my room is Suhana binti Suratman and I called her Nana. She’s coming from Muar, Johor. She’s currently in semester 2 and taking Diploma in Business Study in Transportation (DBST). Her age is same like me and Fiza. She is number 2 from 6 siblings. What I can say about her is she is good girl. She always smiles even though she has a problem. Her hobbies during her free time are surf the internet and read Islamic books. She loves to collect story book that has the moral value. Her favorites colour is green.

I hope all my roommates for this semester will make me happy. Sometimes chatting with them is fun and I love to see their behaviors. Each one of us has our own weird behavior but I can’t tell it! Secret =D. That’s all I can tell about my roommates. See again in my next entries. Bye.

Subject This Semester.

4 January 2010 is the new beginning for the new semester. New semester?? Huhu... For this semester I’ll become 20th years old on 29th May 2010. For this semester, I’ll be in part 3. As time passes us by very quickly. I still remember the moment when I was in part 1 especially during the course orientation. Now I’m already in semester 3 without I noticed it. My hope for this semester is I will get success in everything I’, done. This is because for this semester, my credit hours are 18 hours, compared to my last semester. So, I need to give extra effort for all subjects. This semester I carry 7 subjects. Those are: CTU 241, BEL 311, QMT 261, ECO 211, FIN 262, BMD 101 and HSL 114.

First, is CTU. CTU is an Islamic thought. When I’m in Part 1, our code for this subject is CTU 101 that stands for Fundamental of Islamic. For semester 2, I need to take CTU 152. This subject requires me to learn about Islamic civilization. For current semester, my code for this subject is CTU 241 that teaches us about Islamic economy. This subject is easy to score as the credit hours for this subject is 2 hours. So, it could be easy for me to score in final. To be informed, this semester is the last time we taking CTU because the universities require this subject until semester three only. For three semesters onwards, I get female lecturer since I’m still in Part 1. This semester, my lecturer names are Ustazah Siti Aishah binti Sokhibul Fadil. She has thought CTU for one year. She has a sweet smile. I like to see her smile. She loves to share her story with my classmate. My hope for this subject is I hope it will increase my knowledge about Islam better. My assessment for this subject this semester is we need to do a presentation and a report in group about a topic that given by the lecturer.

Secondly, BEL 311. BEL 311 stands for English for Academic Purposes and it is worth 3 credit hours. The pre-requisite subject for this subject is BEL 260. This semester, I got the same lecturer as last semester. His name is Sir Izuan bin Ismail. He is a strict lecturer but I know that he is a kind-hearted lecturer. In my opinion, I think he is a creative lecturer. He teaches us to improve our speaking by make us acted in drama for last semester and I do enjoyed doing that. Thanks to him for passes me in my final last semester. My assessment for this subject is we need to do term paper. It’s worth 30% for final examination. It is divided into 5% for the outline, 10% for draft and 15% for final draft. Meanwhile, we also have speaking test that carries 20% for final. In facts, to make it worth 50% completely, another 10% will be counted on my punctuality to class, participation in class and timely submission of assignment. I hope for this subject I will get a great score for my BEL 311 in order to increase my pointer.

Third, another subject for this subject is QMT 216. QMT is Introduction to Statistics. The lecturer for this subject is Professor Madya Ruhana binti Zainuddin. She is an experience lecturer for these subjects. What can I describe about her is she wear a round specs. Every class she always gives a talk or advice to my classmate. I hope this subject will help me to increase my pointer. My assignment for this subject is my friend and I need to form a group of three and make a survey via questionnaire.

Fourth, subject that I’m taken this semester is ECO 211 that is Macroeconomic. The pre-requisite subject for this subject is ECO 162 that are Microeconomics. My lecturer is Miss Siti Nordiyana binti Isahak. She is a new lecturer at UiTM Segamat. At first she entered my first class I thought she is a fierce lecturer. But then when my second class, my impression about her is totally differ. Instead she is a funny lecturer and a sporting lecturer. I’m a little bit worried for this subject because it’s tougher than microeconomics. So I need to give extra concentration in class. I hope I can understand this subject very well and can score in my final examination.

Fifth, other subject that I take for this semester is FIN 262. Fin 262 is a Fundamental of Finance. This is the heavier credit hours for this semester. Its worth 4 credit hours. So I need to work hard for this subject. My lecturer for FIN 262 is Madam Norsaliza. She is beautiful lecturer and a nice lecturer. I love to see her face. Its make me feel excited to study. Hehe. What can I say about this subject is this subject require me to full concentrations in class. Learning FIN 262 will be a challenge for me because some of the topics and discussion presented are covered in other subjects such as Business Mathematics, Economics, Management, Marketing and Accounting. The knowledge of these areas is essential perquisites to help promotes the learning process. Lastly, my hopes for FIN 262 are I can understand the subject better and become a good learner.

Next, my favorite subjects for this semester is the Mandarin. The code for this subject is BMD 101. Every semester 3 students from Business Management faculty need to take this course. In my collage, they offered only 2 languages; that is Arabic and Mandarin. I have chosen to take Mandarin. This is because learning Mandarin is fun as we can understand some movie and also we can communicate with Chinese people. For this subject I stayed in D3D2 group because D3D1 is for Arabic class. My lecturer for this subject is Lim Yoon Chong. We call him “Lim laoshi” meaning teacher. What I can describe about him is he is cute! He looks so happy and excited when he teaches us, and of cause I will enjoyed this class so much. Credit hours for this subject are 2 hours. For your information these subjects don’t have paper in final. We just need to perform well in speaking test, listening test and writing test. Lim “laoshi” also inform us that we have to do a video in mandarin. Surely I can’t wait for this moment. It would be so much fun.

Lastly, just like other Part 3 students they surely waiting for this moment. This is our last semester we taking co-curriculum. This semester I’m taking Hand Ball. The code for this subject is HSL 114. These subjects require me to give mentally and physically energy. Well, I hope I will have fun playing this game after being study. I need to go to field every Thursday at 5pm to 7pm. For now I still don’t know who my coach is. I hope he or she is a sporting coach.
In the end, I hope for this semester, I will get success in every subject that I’m taken. Honestly, I want to get A’s for all subjects. Pray for me yah! Thanks!

Hello! The name given is Nor Hidayah Binti Mohd Basri. Just call me Dayah. I was born on 29th May 1990 at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang, Selangor. I stayed with my parents at Jalan Hassan, Klang, Selangor. My father’s name is Mohd Basri Bin Abdul Salam. He used to worked as a supervisor at a factory. Now he has retired and just spend his time with gardening. My lovely mom’s name is Salbiah bt Othman. She is a housewife and sometimes she will take care of her grandson. Both my parents is a wonderful parents. They always support me when I need them and also will help me to build up my spirit whenever I feel down.

When I was 6th years old, I was sent to a kindergarden name as ‘Tadika Pasti darul Ulum’. I still remember the first time I step my foot there. I was so afraid until I asked my parents to wait for me till I finished. When I was 7 years old, I was send to primary school, that is Sekolah Kebangsaan Teluk Pulai, Klang. I was at there until I was 12 years old. At that ages, I need to take UPSR. My UPSR result just satisfy me but not make me so proud.

Up to 13 years old,I was schooling at Methodist Girl’s School,Klang. It’s a suprise for me to know that I have leave my childhood time and attending a secondary school. That’s is another changes in my life. I was school at girl school, so the surronding is totally different from my primary school that are mixed with boy’s.in my opinion, I think schooling at girl's school is more fun than other school. I was having so much fun and sweet moment when I was studying there. At there, I have my favourite teacher’s. She thought me English and mathematics. Although she’s a bit fierce sometimes, but I love her. This is because she always blow our spirit especially during SPM comes. Thank’s God for the great teacher’s that I’ve never forget.

Even though I have leave the school, all the sweet and bitter experience that i have faced, will always stick in my heart forever. For now on, studying at UITM Segamat in Diploma in Banking is another experience that will bring me to another changes in my life. I’m hoping for my successful life here, so I will make my parents proud of me.
